The grass is already turning green on the slopes of Snowspace Salzburg and the summer is right around the corner. So we use this time to recap our 19/20 season.
At the very start of the season the snow layer was quite shallow. But right in time for Christmas the weather brought us some snow and perfect skiing conditions. So we started giving lessons in full swing. Around that time, we were able to welcome some familiar faces and clients that visit us every year. The time went by very fast and we made it into the year 2020. In January, our team was busy doing many different things, like preparing our Kinderland, giving private lessons, group lessons and of course celebrating some après ski.
In February, our busiest month, we got some help from old friends and colleges who come every year to help us during high season. This whole month we were able to help our guests from all over the world improve their skiing technique.
As we almost had sunshine every day during that month it was not hard finding joy in being outdoors with the ski school kids and their parents.
In March, the weather forecast promised lots of good weather and the conditions where great for the best spring skiing experience. But sadly, everything turned out a little different. Due to the Austrian governments regulations regarding the Corona virus we were forced to end our season one month earlier than planned, on the 15th of March. That of course came way too early for every ski enthusiast. But the health of our guests and team is a priority for us and, thus, we use this little longer summer for staying fit and preparing for the upcoming season 2020/21. We can’t wait for it to start.
